Itinerary
Day 1 – London to the Island
London → Ferry → Ventnor
Depart London in the afternoon and travel by comfortable minibus to the south coast. Cross the Solent by ferry, enjoying sea views as the island comes into sight.
Continue across the Isle of Wight to Ventnor and check in to your seaside hotel.
Evening:
Hosted Taste the Wight welcome dinner showcasing seasonal island produce.
Sleep: Ventnor (Night 1)
Travel: 3–4 hrs total. Walking: light.
Day 2 – Fields, Farms & Island Flavours
Rural Heartland & West Wight
After breakfast with sea views, head inland through rolling countryside.
Farm Visit: Briddlesford Lodge Farm
Meet the farmers, learn about sustainable dairy farming, and enjoy tastings of award-winning Isle of Wight cheeses.
Producer Visit: The Garlic Farm (or seasonal equivalent)
Discover one of the island’s most iconic producers with guided tastings and insight into island growing conditions.
Lunch at Leisure:
Free time in a coastal town such as Yarmouth or Freshwater, with recommendations provided.
Afternoon: Mermaid Gin Distillery
Guided distillery visit and tasting, showcasing island botanicals and flavours. Optional coastal walk or free time nearby.
Return to Ventnor to relax before the evening.
Evening:
Free time to dine independently or

Optional: Visit to Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s former residence (entry not included).
Late morning departure, ferry crossing back to the mainland, and return to London by early evening.
