The Nebit Challenge is a fundraising hill walk organised by the Rotary Club of Alloa, taking participants from Alva into the beautiful Ochil Hills to the beacon on The Nebit.
Join us on Sunday 31st May 2026 for a fun, well-supported community event with fantastic views across Clackmannanshire and beyond.

The Nebit Challenge is a great opportunity for groups to take part and raise sponsorship money for their own club, group or chosen charity, while the Rotary Club of Alloa provides the organisation, route and support on the day.

By carAlva is easy to reach from the main road network:
From Alloa: approx. 10–15 minutes
From Stirling: approx. 25 minutes
From Perth: approx. 40 minutes
From Edinburgh / Glasgow: approx. 1 hour (traffic dependent)
Please follow event signage / steward directions on arrival.
Parking is limited so car sharing is encouraged where possible.
The nearest public transport links are in Alloa.
From Alloa you can reach Alva via local buses / taxis.
Participants travelling by public transport should allow extra time for connections.

Because of this, the route is not suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or most pushchairs/buggies.
