What You Will Learn

• Understanding different parts of the yacht and their functions
• Basic seamanship and helming the yacht under sail and power
• Rope work, including essential knots and line handling
• Sailing terminology and safety procedures
• Steering and keeping a steady course
• Handling sails, reefing, and trimming for different conditions
• Personal safety onboard, including using lifejackets and harnesses
• Man Overboard recovery techniques
• Keeping a lookout and understanding basic navigation principles
• Living onboard, including galley duties and night sailing experience
