Dr Ruth Armstrong, Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge
Dr Amy Ludlow - Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge
Dr Ingrid Obsuth, School of Health in Social Science, University of Edinburgh
This talk will explore the findings from the evaluation of the first four years of Learning Together - an initiative that builds communities of learning between higher education institutions and criminal justice institutions. The talk explores the theoretical underpinnings, methodological approaches and the qualitative and quantitative findings of the evaluation. It considers what these findings might mean for educational research about transformative learning and criminological research about desistance from crime and psychological well-being.
