Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are crucial concerns in epidemiology and statistics because these fields directly impact public health decisions, policies, and scientific understanding. This hybrid event shares insights from experts from across the UK, who adopt critical perspectives on diversity issues in these fields.

This event is open to all UofG staff and students. It will be of interest to those working in disciplines connected to public health and health-based research; those with an interest in the relationship between EDI, research, and knowledge production; or those who work with quantitative, epidemiological, and/or statistical data.

We are offering this as a hybrid session, where you can join us on campus in the Adam Smith Business School, or online via Zoom.

This event is funded by the MVLS College EDI Committee (CEDIC).

If you have questions about the event, please email Sharon.Greenwood@glasgow.ac.uk.
