The Women in Law Project, in collaboration with the Glasgow Open (GO) Justice Centre, is delighted to host the inaugural Madge Easton Anderson Lecture delivered by Professor Linda Mulcahy, at the School of Law, University of Glasgow on Tuesday 29 October 2024. on the topic of ‘The Right to Legal Knowledge: Epistemic injustice in a post democratic age’.
Linda Mulcahy is Statutory Professor of Socio-Legal Studies, Faculty of Law, University of Oxford and Director of the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies. She has qualifications in law, sociology and art history and her work has a strong inter-disciplinary flavour. Linda has previously held positions at the LSE; Birkbeck, University of London; Bristol University and the Law Commission.
We are looking forward to honouring the first woman lawyer in the UK and graduate of University of Glasgow, in this way. It promises to be a fascinating lecture and a very enjoyable evening.
