Bio

Having qualified with a B.Acc at Glasgow University, Rob trained as a Chartered Accountant then spent a further 8 years in the Accounting Profession in Management Consulting, working across Europe. He has subsequently enjoyed 16 years in industry (Cadbury Schweppes, Sky) in a variety of Finance & Strategy roles. 

Rob’s specialism & passion is improving Finance functions. He starts with a compelling vision for Finance, anchored in the business strategy, and translates that into practical improvement to systems, processes, data and performance management. But ultimately Rob feels it is about people – working through change, managing stakeholders, unleashing potential. He has been at Sky for 10 years, and looks after Finance Transformation whilst leading their Finance Shared Service.
