The University of Glasgow’s NIHR-funded OPTIMA project (https://www.gla.ac.uk/research/az/optima/) is very pleased to host a webinar by Euan Leitch.
Euan is the Chief Executive of Scotland’s Regeneration Forum (SURF). With extensive experience in urban planning and related policy, Euan collaborates closely with the Scottish Government and its agencies to shape and enhance regeneration policies. Drawing on his expertise, Euan will delve into how Scotland’s planning system operates, its influence on shaping local areas compared to other factors, and its potential role in implementing 20-minute neighbourhoods. This concept, a national policy priority in Scotland and an emerging focus globally, aims to create healthier, more equitable communities by reducing health inequalities and fostering sustainable living. Don’t miss this insightful discussion on the intersection of planning, policy, and impactful outcomes.
