A showcase of current technology use in MVLS teaching offering inspiration and providing practical direction for integrating technology in online and on campus teaching.

Join us at the MVLS Showcase: Inspiration for 25/26, organised by a team the University of Glasgow MVLS TELT Committee. This event will bring together educators, technologists, and tech enthusiasts to explore innovative ways of integrating technology into teaching. Focusing on online and on-campus learning, this showcase aims to inspire and motivate attendees with its diverse range of talks, lectures, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.

Formats 

Mini workshop: very short presentations (7min max) followed by interactive hands on demonstrations 

Quick wins: technology snippets and use cases (good practice)

A Padlet will run alongside: to capture comments, ideas and questions about using the technologies in different ways

Showcase Outputs

Ideas: ideas about technology integration that are inspired through attending, will be captured on the Padlet. 

Technology Tips creation: short SOPs (standard operating procedures) or 'how to' documents will be produced for sharing across college.

Building networks: Staff new ideas will have opportunities to link staff using (or with knowledge of) particular technologies 

MVLS TELT action plan: comments and feedback on the day will be collated to contribute to the 2025-26 action plan
