FUSE CDT & PIADS CDT invite you to attend a joint careers event held on Wednesday 4th September at the Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow.

The aim is to create a vibrant, engaging and interactive event for PIADS CDT and FUSE CDT students.  There is synergy in delivering a collaborative event between these two EPSRC funded CDTs.

This careers event is an opportunity for our students to develop and enhance their employability with range of workshops on the agenda for all stages of the PhD journey. There will be practical activities and informative sessions on enhanced CV writing, understanding strengths and weaknesses, building interview skills and some training on LinkedIn. There will also be a storytelling for researchers' workshop, to introduce thinking of ways to communicate with the public. The object being to learn to tell the story of your research – rather than an academic summary.
