What you need to know

Date: Monday Morning Yoga 9am - 10am

Location: University Interfaith Chaplaincy Reflection, Prayer and Wellbeing Space | Located on level 1, Main Building (downstairs from Chaplaincy Offices: https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/chaplaincy/worship/#prayer&reflectionspaces). This is the first time we will use this space, hopefully we can find a suitable space through trial (and error?!). It was suggested to me by estates & buildings staff as it's empty during the day.

Description: Monday morning yoga in the Universities Well-being Space from 9am.-10 am. The class will be led by fellow PhDr and experienced UofGlasgow based yoga teacher Erika Anderson. You can expect a friendly welcome, a little sweat, plenty of stretch and a lot of warm energy. Perfect for PhD students wanting to unwind and start their week off just right. Yoga with the PhD society is for everybody so everybody is welcome. Beginners are Welcome – Full instruction is given to new students so that they can quickly settle into the flow of these classes.

Info:

  • Showers available
  • It is a BYO mat event. If you want to come and do not have a mat, email me and I can ask around and see if anyone has a spare

Donations of £2 are welcome. £1 will cover Erika's expenses and £1 will go towards the PhD society funds (room bookings, catering for events). At present all PhD events are funded out of PhD pockets.
