What: Workshop aimed at University of Glasgow researchers developing a potential REF2029 impact case study, REF Impact Leads, and other colleagues involved in or interested in the development of REF2029 impact case studies.  

The workshop is organised by the Research Services REF Impact Team at University of Glasgow in collaboration with the College Impact Teams in all four Colleges. Content will be tailored to research disciplines and impact types relevant to the participants. A significant proportion of the time will be spent on planning and preparing for evidencing your own impact case study, supported by research impact specialists.  

In this workshop you will:  

  • Become familiar with definitions of evidence and other key concepts and terms in a REF impact case study context through presentation, practical exercises, and discussion.  
  • Understand and identify what evidence could be relevant for your potential REF impact case study​.
  • Dedicate time to and make progress on your own evidencing strategy and plan for your potential REF impact case study.

Directions

Take the lift to level 7. Turn left and follow the corridor along past the toilets. It is the second door on your left entitled 'Helen Torley & Alain Delongchamp Room'. 



Accessibility 

There is lift access to level 7, the lift is located to the right of the main entrance on level 1. Signs indicating the location of the lift are clearly visible from the entrance.

Room 734 is described as accessible and is set up for hearing assistance. 

The workshop will make use of power point slides.
