A University-wide event taking place November 21, 2024 that will recognise the excellence and breadth of achievements in knowledge exchange and innovation at the University of Glasgow. This event is a celebration of the wide portfolio of innovation and impact-generation driven by university staff of all categories, backgrounds and career stages.
As part of the event, there will be a showcase of student enterprise, staff projects, and expertise from across the spectrum, as well as an award ceremony recognising UofG teams, projects, research and professional staff within KE & I. The showcase will consist of videos, project posters, lightning talks, and tabletop presentations.
Through this event we seek to incentivise further engagement and collaborations, as well as promote the institution’s approach, support, activities, and achievements in KE & I amongst the university’s internal community and external guests.

The Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Research Centre, 11 Chapel Lane, Glasgow, G11 6EW United Kingdom
The ARC is within a walking distance from Hillhead and Kelvinhall Subway Stations, as well as Kelvingrove Museum and Gallery. Nearby bus stations are located on Byres Road, Dumbarton Road, and Church Street.
There is step-free access to Level 2, the publicly accessible ground floor.
Accessible and ambulant toilets are available throughout the building, as are gender neutral toilets. Changing Places toilet located on Level 1, our lower ground floor and you may ask reception for support.
Baby feeding and changing facilities are available on Level 2. This includes access to a fridge, microwave, bottle warmer and sink.
Assistance dogs are welcome! Water bowls can be provided at Reception.
The closest Blue Badge parking bay is located on University Place. Please contact ARCEnquiries@glasgow.ac.uk should you need to arrange accessible drop-off and parking immediately next to the ARC.
All microphones in the building work in conjunction with an infrared hard of hearing system.
