This is an in-person and online event for UofG staff with priority being given to colleagues from the College of Social Sciences. A valid UofG Staff email address is required to book your ticket.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week (March 16th – 20th 2026) is a global week of celebrating neurodiversity and challenging misconceptions about neurodivergence while promoting acceptance and understanding.
The College of Social Sciences hopes to bring together neurodivergent and neurotypical colleagues to celebrate the skills, talents, and contributions of neurodivergent individuals, fostering a culture where everyone feels valued.
We want to foster a community of inclusion by inviting you to join an event on March 18th 2026. The event will consist of talks from a variety of speakers, opportunities for reflection and discussion, and connecting with fellow colleagues.
The event will be hosted by the College of Social Sciences Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and our guest speakers will include:
Lunch and Light Refreshments will be available.
This event is funded by the Ferguson Bequest. Professor Thomas Ferguson (1900-1977), Henry Mechan Chair of Public Health (1944-64), bequeathed his estate to the University, with the instruction that the money should be used to “foster the social side of University life."
