What you need to know

This is an in-person event for UofG Staff and Students Only.  A valid UofG Staff, Research, Student or SRC email address is required to book your ticket.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and assisting them to be in a position of power to make informed decision about their health is at the heart of its mission.

Advancing gender equality sits at the heart of the University’s strategic values and KPI to improve representation of women in senior professional and professorial roles to 50% by 2030. We are committed to ensuring a work environment in which all women can thrive, and we recognise the related and significant workplace impact of menopause and hormonal changes . Many of our colleagues are working through menopause or supporting someone who is and we are committed to introducing the right menopause awareness, guidance and support to allow colleagues to feel happy, nurtured and supported.

We continue to be proud of the progress we are making, and we want to keep the conversation going by inviting you join a special medically-themed panel event on Wednesday 26th March.

There will be an opportunity to arrive from 15:00 for networking and refreshments before the panel begins at 15:30.
