Business Growth Programme

Our Business Growth Programme for women in the South of Scotland, is designed to give you information and practical insights on growing and developing your business.

Coupled with expert support, this course aims to encourage you over the course of 6 weeks to learn new skills, boost your confidence and get inspired to take the next steps in growing your business. 

Places are funded by the Scottish Government, so there is no charge to participate.

Format

The course will be delivered over 6 sessions between Wednesday 15th January until Wednesday 26th February 2025 with a break for the February school holidays. The sessions will be weekly lunchtime sessions, held by zoom from 12pm – 1pm each Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the course, there will be practical individual coaching sessions and the opportunity to attend networking events with your fellow cohort of women-led businesses.

The sessions will be delivered by Founder of Love Scottish and Women's Enterprise Scotland certified business advisor Lesley Landels. Topics covered during the course include: managing your finances, storytelling for your brand, taking on your first employee, and customer care.

You will benefit from a 6-week training programme designed to help you assess existing opportunities for growth in your business and identify new ways in which you can develop your business, whether that be scaling up or scaling deep, and maximising it's potential. You will learn essential skills and hear from industry experts as well as other successful female entrepreneurs who will share their own experiences and give you invaluable insights and advice to help you in your own business journey.  

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with 1-2-1 support and meet local contacts providing business support through networking events. Plus be introduced to other like-minded women growing their own business in your communities.
