ARTSTART UK provides a supportive environment in Hampshire, designed to allow all family members, adults and children get involved in creating artwork through hands on experience in art, craft and design.

We're on every week, term time at Beacon Arts Centre at The Henry Beaufort School so come along, have fun and explore the world of art, craft and design through hands on experimentation and play!

We paint, draw and sculpt with pastels, crayons, charcoal, wire, mod-rock, clay and so much more! A wide range of materials are on hand and the kids can help themselves.

Workshops kick off with a demonstration, by lead artist Donna Vokes who brings example projects for the children to see and be inspired by. Children are encouraged to explore their own imaginations, follow their own ideas and are supported by Donna throughout. Most projects are started and completed in one session with something to take straight home and others take longer. Children work at their own pace. Children are free to work on their own projects and bring in artwork/art homework from home to work on and take advantage of the materials on hand.

> Beacon Arts Centre is accessible via the top car park, off Priors Dean Road. (There is a bus stop next to the entrance)

> 12 Weeks: 26th April - 19th July (but not Saturday 31st May)

> Saturday's 12noon - 2:00pm

> Students get a free sketch book which they can take home and use in class and at home.

> PAYMENT:There are two ways of making payment:

1. Reserve by filling in the reservation form on the ARTSTART UK website here and you can mail a cheque (or pay in cash on the day) upon acceptance (You will receive an email notifying you of a place or not).

2. Book online and secure your spot here. There is an admin fee set by the ticket company, which I have no control over so you will be charged a small admin fee which you can view alongside the event price.

You will be notified on the 20th April with confirmation. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the start of the term/booking deadline, get in touch as there may still be places available and you only pay for the number of sessions left.
