A rare chance to visit Carymoor Environmental Trust and find out more about what we do. Our site is not normally open to the public but we would like to welcome you on Saturday 8th August and show you around.

There will be activities, fun and games for families as well as refreshments.  We will have volunteers on hand to tell you about our sustainable buildings and what volunteering opportunities are available for individuals, groups, or businesses.

We are an environmental charity based on a capped landfill site and use our position to educate children and adults about sustainable living, wildlife and the environment. Over the past 30 years we have transformed the capped landfill site into a nature reserve with meadows, wetland and woodland.

All the proceeds from today will help us support our charitable aims to provide environmental education to children and adults and support and restore wildlife on our site.
