Louth Academy

Louth Academy was one of ten schools that contributed to the DfE English Hub Secondary Pilot Working Party in Lincolnshire. The school’s high-quality reading provision played a significant role in shaping the 2026–2027 English Hub offer.

During the Open Mornings, you will have the opportunity to:

• Observe high-quality reading interventions;
• Hear how the school timetables and delivers reading interventions targeted at the domains of reading based on diagnostic assessment;
• Experience the school’s Reading for Purpose culture across the whole school;
• Explore how reading is embedded throughout the wider curriculum;
• Talk with pupils and teachers;
• Hear from Louth Academy’s leadership team and learn about their reading journey and where reading provision is today.
