The Reading Framework

Teaching the Foundations of Literacy

Witham St Hughs English Hub would like to offer support and advice to schools about The Reading Framework (July 2021).   We will be hosting short webinars, aimed at Headteachers and school leaders, to:

 

• introduce the purpose of the Reading Framework
• provide a summary of each section
• unpick the key messages within the guidance
• support leaders to evaluate your own school's practice against the guidance 
• support leaders to prioritise areas for development in your own school
• support leaders to use the reading framework to enhance their own school's practice
  
• provide practical ideas on how to implement the guidance in your own school
• provide an opportunity for schools to ask questions about The Reading Framework.
