Overall aim 
NHS staff who require help, advice and support to improve their critical appraisal skills and knowledge of qualitative research.

Key areas
Key areas covered in the workshop will include:

• Using a CASP checklist to identify key aspects of qualitative research
• Working as a group to discuss and appraise a piece of qualitative research

Preparatory task

Please ensure you read the article sent to you prior to attending the session, using the CASP checklist as a guide. These will be attached in the booking confirmation email that will be sent to you after you have submitted your booking. The article will form the focus of our group discussion.

Delivery 

This 1.5 hrs practical session will be delivered on MS Teams.
