Each plant has its own energetic structure and personality. Some are warming, some are drying and some are cooling. Like humans, plants are also elemental in nature. Some are fiery and have heating actions in the body, while others are moistening and watery in nature. By learning to recognize the different elemental and energetic composition of plants we will have a deeper understanding of how to use them to bring balance and healing within the human body.

In this workshop you will learn:

- Plant energetics

- Elemental theory of ether, air, fire, water and earth.

- How to classify plants based on their elemental makeup

- How to treat different body systems

- Basic botany

This workshop will be run in person with the opportunity to connect to the plants in person, and will also be offered online for those in lockdown.

Those in both the face to face and online workshop will have the opportunity to develop their senses and taste, touch and smell the different qualities of plants.

About your facilitator:Lily of the Herbs:
Lily is a wild herbalist based in Northern NSW and Victoria. She has been working with plants since she was young and has a background in propagation and permaculture. Currently working as a Zenthai Shiatsu, womb hara practitioner and herbalist, Lily is passionate about connecting people to plants and to their own bodies. Lily has been running workshops on herbalism and embodiment for the last three years. While she finishes her Bachelor of Western Herbal Medicine, she provides alternative training for people wishing to experience herbalism .
