Following the success of last year's event, this year's Women in Security Conference brings together leaders, practitioners, and changemakers from across the security industry to explore how we can break down barriers and build a more inclusive future. Through thought-provoking discussions, real-world insights, and inspiring stories, we will examine the challenges women continue to face, celebrate the progress already made, and highlight the unique perspectives women bring as they take up more space in the field. This event is not just about conversation—it’s about action, equipping the industry with strategies and solutions to drive meaningful change and create a security sector where everyone can thrive.

🎤 Baroness Neville Jones - We are honoured that Baroness Neville Jones, Patron of The Security Institute, will be delivering the opening address.
One of the UK's most respected figures in national and international security, Baroness Neville Jones brings a distinguished career spanning diplomacy, intelligence, government and industry. A trailblazer for women in the security profession, she is a passionate advocate for professionalism, diversity and inclusion across the sector and as our Patron, continues to champion the importance of building a resilient, inclusive security workforce that draws on the widest possible pool of talent.
Her opening address will set the tone for an inspiring and thought-provoking conference focused on leadership, inclusion, and the future of the security industry.
🎤 Fiona Galbraith MSyI - Programme Leader at Buckinghamshire New University
Fiona bring a truly distinctive perspective shaped by an exceptional career spanning operational military intelligence, strategy, consultancy and higher education. From Sandhurst to international deployments, and now leading innovative security programmes in academia, Fiona's experience offers powerful insight into leadership, inclusion and professional responsibility within the security sector.
Fiona's session "Supporting Women and Men in Security - Case Studies in Fluid Leadership and Followership" will explore how leadership and followership shift dynamically in different contexts, why inclusive professional communities matter, and what organisations gain when everyone plays their part. She will also share insights from the frontline of higher education, including trends shaping the future security workforce.
🎤 Sarah Jane Cork MSyI - Chief Executive Officer at Milieu Associates
Sarah is a dynamic and accomplished leader, renowned for driving transformation, sustainable growth and high performing teams across diverse sectors. A growth strategist and board chair, she brings deep expertise in leadership, change management and building authentic, values-led businesses.
Her session "What is your Milieu?" explores what success really looks like - reflecting on the stepping stones of her own career, the power of networking, setting up and leading a business, being authentic, striving for equality and using platforms like LinkedIn to support personal and professional growth.

Moderated by Sian Doherty MSyI - Managing Director at Arc Monitoring, Sian began her security career as a CCTV operator. Over 15 years she has advanced to lead one of the UK's top NSI Gold Alarm Receiving Centres. Under her leadership, Arc Monitoring is known for its operational excellence and customer-focused innovation.
🎤 Helen Isaac QPM – Chief Superintendent and Head of Local Policing at City of London Police. Helen brings nearly three decades of policing experience, having led teams across community policing, public order, firearms, and national protective security. As the first woman to hold her current post, she offers invaluable insight into leadership, resilience, and operational inclusion.
🎤 Rachel Fleri – Founder, Managing Director, and sole owner of Specialist Security Co Ltd. Rachel has built one of Wales’ leading privately owned security companies and is a respected industry voice through her roles with the BSIA and the SIA. She is a passionate advocate for raising standards and embedding inclusive culture at every level of the industry.

As Vice Chair of Carlisle’s Women in Security Committee, Ruth focuses on practical, visible actions that improve recruitment, retention, and day-to-day culture for women working on the frontline.
🎤 Neha Sharma – Frontline Security Officer at Carlisle Support Services, with hands-on experience across major UK venues including stadiums and large-scale public events. Neha brings an authentic, on-the-ground perspective on what inclusion looks like during real shifts, and what genuinely helps women succeed and progress in operational roles.

Drawing on global experience across consulting and multinational industry, she explores how technical expertise, operational thinking, and inclusive leadership come together in senior cyber roles.
