Speaker:
David is a highly experienced Chartered security and resilience professional, specialising in Counter Terrorism, Security Risk Management, security design development and Emergency Planning. With 40 years of defence and commercial experience, he brings extensive cross-sector knowledge from managing major development projects, including critical national infrastructure in the UK and major global initiatives. He has demonstrated high competency in strategic security planning, threat vulnerability and security risk assessment, operational security management, and security system design. His expertise spans concept, scheme, and detailed design, as well as design assurance. He is also adept at delivering business continuity and crisis management exercises worldwide and has provided Counter Terrorism advice to UK Police and UK Home Office. He is a SABRE Assessor and Professional (SQSS), a Fellow of the Security Institute and co-Chair of the Built Environment Special Interest Group.
