The family of Di Thomas have graciously extended an invitation to members of The Security Institute, past and present, and members of the security community, to join them in commemorating her life and enduring legacy.

The funeral service will be held at Barsby Service Chapel, 65 Upper Bond St, Hinckley LE10 1RH, on Tuesday, 21st April 2026, commencing at 1:30pm.

We warmly wish to let members know that, following the funeral service, there will be a small, private gathering for close family and friends. We kindly ask members to depart the venue once the funeral proceedings have concluded. The Security Institute will host a gathering for the security community at Witherley House, Hazell Way, Hazell Way Industrial Estate, Nuneaton, CV10 7PQ, where tea, coffee, and refreshments will be provided, from 2.30pm - 5pm.

We kindly request that members register their interest by 16th April 2026 to enable appropriate catering arrangements.

Your presence will be a comforting support to the family and a fitting tribute to Di’s memory. Together, let us honour her life, share cherished memories, and celebrate the legacy she leaves behind
