In this session, Karol will be taking members through his personal journey and career, discussing how he overcame his disability and went from strength to strength: From a front line security officer to Manager of Security and Resilience for the business district (BID) of Waterloo.

Karol has an impressive background, including 5 years in the Irish Defence Forces and over 20 years of experience in various security roles. Notably, he managed security at Westminster Cathedral during the Pope’s visit in 2010. Karol holds several relevant certifications, including a Level 5 Diploma in Security Management from The Security Institute and a Level 5 in Terrorism Awareness and Management from TINYg. He is also in the process of completing his Advanced Level 7 Diploma in Security and Risk Management from The Security Institute.
