The University of Glasgow has developed PROMPT (Publications & Research Output Modelling and Preparation Tool), a new central system designed to support the scoring and selection of research outputs for REF2029.

This is an optional training session for staff who will be using PROMPT to score outputs in their Unit, or to coordinate the review and submission of outputs (e.g. REF leads, outputs scoring committees, School/College research administrators).

What we will cover

UofG's Research Enhancement team and IT services will:

• Provide an overview of PROMPT and its role in the University's submission to REF2029
• Advise on who should have access to PROMPT
• Support attendees with using PROMPT and working through an exercise in the test system
• Answer any questions you may have about the tool

Prerequisites

To gain access to PROMPT, users must have completed the following online modules in Moodle:

• Diversity in the Workplace
  
• Let’s Talk About Race in the Workplace
  
• Unconscious Bias in HE
  
• REF Sensitive Data (REF2029)
